Overview / What it Was / How it Happened / The Proof So you want the lowdown on Miles and Pat, don't ya? You've come to the right place! So here goes my little 'love story'... Anyone who has seen 'The Case of the Mystery Weekend' a time or two may have found it rather apparent that Miles and Pat 'hit it off', since they understood each other and well, they shared a lot of 'looks' back and forth, as you'll see here and beyond.
As you may have noticed in most episodes, the writers wanted to capture the attention of adults as well as children, and by adding (pun intended) a little something here and there that may have gone unnoticed by most younger folks, this worked out quite nicely for the 'older set'. This included some underlying 'adult issues': the 'love' between George and Kate, George's ongoing, (even if seemingly rather iffy) marriage with Martha, and of course, the quick-developing relationship between Miles and Pat.
